coolant in oil neck

OK, so I thought this was almost impossible in a rotary engine???? I know it generally means a head gasket for piston engines, but filling up the oil I noticed a milky substance in the filler neck

Its condensation. It happens when your engine heats up. Its completely normal for our engines. Don't worry about it.

okee dokee, but....

I have had coolant disappearing but no symptoms of coolant seal failuere. I tried to burp the system via openingthe TB hose and I couldn't get it to spit any out via filling the filler neck up.

Perhaps paranoia is getting the best of me?

Try filling he filler neck up all the way, capping it, and then squeezing the upper radiator hose while the TB hose is disconnected. This should work in getting the TB hose to spit coolant out.

Something else you may want to check is your turbo coolant hoses and your coolant return line. These three hoses gave me trouble for the longest time.

The turbo coolant hoses will leak and not show it and the return line is not preasurized during a coolant preasure test but can often suck air during cool down.

turbo coolant hoses have less than 1500 miles on them :D

I am aware of the general cooling issues and what to do, it's just that I am beyond that and shit is just dumbfounding me. That's why I am curious if I am just paranoid. I do know the filler neck keeps going down so that is why I wanted to burp the system via the TB.

I think Mazda should have put a disclaimer in the owners manual: "NOTICE - this car WILL play tricks with your mind"
