Constant noise from "add coolant"
 

It might be a stupid question but I would like to know
When I start my car the add coolant beeps for the first 3 minutes, then it stops when the temperature needle is in the middle of the gauge.
It also do this when I make a turn and steps on the gas for maximum acceleration.
Is this normal?
I have filled the car with as much water I can but it still makes noise

If you are filling it correctly, and you have not recently opened the system, then it is probably a bad sensor.

HUndreds of threads exist about coolant... A quick search will locate them.

Or even that your coolant level sensor isn't even connected or the wire / connection is torn up, check that first.

I'd say you have air in the system. I know from more than one experience. All it take is a little hole in a coolant/heater hose, or a bad clamp. The reason you only hear it a start up is: The air is sucked in during cooling and goes to high point. i.e. ( The filler neck)....Then as you car warms and your thermostat opens the air is circulated into the sysyem. I can really see it with my Power FC the commmander temp will jump right as the themo opens. The air in the system will also a higher running temp.
I sugguest you take a very close look at all of your hoses and clamps. Then burp the system, this should help your problem.

1. Are you filling the coolant in the right location? Fill here:

2. If you are filling the coolant in the right place, check the sensor to make sure it's functioning properly.

3. Do you have any smoke out of the exhaust when you first start up?

Bleed your coolant, Check the sensors,.......Are you finding a puddle of coolant under your car after you drive?!?
