Condensation on oil fill cap?

On a whim I bought a billet aluminum oil filler cap to replace my stock black plastic cap that has been a pain to get on and off for 10 years. I took the fd out for a spin as I was doing its spring oil change and prefer to get the car warm - oil always seems to drain a bit better. Drove the car, switched the cap for fitment, went inside to let it cool a bit, changed the filter and then removed the cap. I noticed a fair amount of condensation on the inside of the metal cap when I removed it. There is no coolant loss and none was in the oil. This was just pure clear condensation forming on the cooler metal cap from within the vapors of the engine. I have seen many a hot engine steam with the oil cap removed. I just never realized how hot the fd gets and how important it is to change that oil.

Don't worry about the condensation. It's normal.
