Compression numbers

Are these good compression numbers or not?
Front Rotor: 8.8, 8.8, 8.4 Bar Rear Rotor: 7.7, 7.9, 7.9

the FSM calls for a min reading of 7 bar +- .3 between faces (iirc) on all faces for 93's so those #'s look good though the rear rotor is on the weak side. I have been told the 94+ FSM reduced the min "Good" Compression readings to 6.0 +- .3 but I have only read the 93 FSM.
FWIW my curent readings are 8+ on all 3 front rotor faces and 3,3,6 on the rear = Broken Apex or Corner Seal

Yes, they are great compression numbers. The front espcially, its .2 from an original band new motor. They are all close to each other which is another good sign.

However, why is your rear rotor so much different then your front.. thats strange...

7.7.7.9 is not weak... There are people who have been running in the 6's for months and are perfectly fine. Typically you wont lose to much power untill the motor really see's some age.

My first motor ran strong until the Compression #'s got down into the mid 5s but woudn't Idle worth crap w/ the AC on (stalled every time the compressor clutch kicked in) like I said eariler, by 94-95 MAZDA had decided that 6's are ok. I guess there were to many warranty replacements when the FSM said replace engine if compression is below 7.0 on 1 or more faces on each rotor

Front:
6.9
6.8
6.8
Rear:
7.0
7.0
6.9

If yo still have a warranty (mine is through a Fidelity company), at what compression do you think they will warranty it?
