Combination Switch
I need some help removing the combination switch cover for the head light stalk. There appears to be a screw holding the cover on. At first this looked like an allen head screw. However, I have tried an allen wrench, torx, flat and phillips head screw driver. After looking where the screw should be it appears there is not one located there. If I compare it to the wiper stalk the condition appears to be the same (as if there is no screw). I tried pulling the cover off (at all three positions), but the cover won't move. If anybody has done this before and can offer some feed back I would appreciate it.

Bump - Anybody have any ideas for removing the cover in order to clean the contacts?

Remove the steering wheel and steering wheel surround. The wiper stalk and headlight stalk are one component that come off the steering column. I replaced mine with new a few years back, don't remember it being that tricky to remove.
Now, taking it apart to clean the contacts, that could be a pain. Dale |
Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to be able to clean the contacts without replacing the switch, but it looks like I'll replace the switch. Thanks again.
