a .com is born

Hi all,

I just wanted to say that my site now has it's own domain at www.silverbulletrx7.com! As always I would love to get feed-back from you guys on both content and design. That's how it will get improved:)

I like your "buying a 7" section. Good for the n00bs ;)

Site doesn't seem to function properly. Clicking the links on the left places all the text in the cramped space on that side(replacing the links). It should place the info to the right and leave the links active on the left..

My suggestion: ditch the java menu altogether. Java was not meant for that sort of thing, and performs very poorly.

Try Javascript if you are doing a mouseover type thing (image changes when you have your mouse cursor over it).

Or just go wiht regular HTML. If you go this route, you can ditch the frames, and put everything ina big table.

Check out www.godaddy.com

You can secure a domain name for as little as 9 bucks a year, but then you need to have a web host. Basic packages can be had for less than $15 a month. Or, if you've got a static IP with a broadband provider (cable, dsl) you could point your domain to your home computer, and serve up web pages to the whole world. :D

<laugh> all this time, I thought it was just a glitch on my version of IE.

I guess it's not Mac-friendly

I'm using IE 6, and it doesn't work for me either..

I didn't realize people were having problems with the buttons on the side. Nobody has ever e-mailed me about this in all the years the site has been up:( They are not java, they are a special thing that FrontPage offers. It's an applet called fphover.class. I used it because you can update the text and add links w/o having to create new images. As for where they link that should work properly. I have most of them set to open in an entire window thus replacing the buttons altogether. I did it this way because I like the extra viewing room. I guess I'll have to ditch the front page applet...
