cold start question...

So, the FD is running great. About time. When I start the car first thing in the morning or any cold start, the idle like to surge and be a little rough between 1000-1400 for about 1-3 minutes. As it starts to warm, the idle smooths out nicely. Driving everything is good (with the exception that my idle likes to be around 1100-1200 when I first come to a stop, then eventually come back down to 900) I have the following removed:

AWS
A/P
ACV
EGR.

I have the double throttle and the wax rod still. I red on robrobinette that his was rough when cold and thought it was the WAX rod, but since I didn't remove mine, I was thinking it was one of the other things I listed above. Just want to make sure I am not harming anything :) When warm, it accelerates great and boost is coming on strong and smooth (still haven't WOT it yet)

ha..no need to worry man. the fd has a built in self warming system. idoling the car higher than normal to get things heated up quicker.

id sudgest giving the gas a little nudge to slow down the engine to normal...its not good for the engine to rev that high so soon after startup.

Well, it's only revving between 1100 and 1400, so it isn't that high really. I won't worry about it. I know all about the AWS which typically does 3k, but I have that disabled.

my fd does something very strange when cold it ramps up the fuel pressure....to like 60psi which means the car runs EXTREMELY rich...my wideband reads like 11afr at idle...when the car warms up at the same 1200rpm idle, it runs very smooth again with 12.9afr reading

If I first start the car and reduce the fuel from the PFS to 12.9 right away, it will run smooth and then stall when it warms up

SO something in our cars causes the fuel pressure to ramp
