where does the tach get its signal from?

you can get a signal for rpm's from the IG- terminal in the diagnostic box on driver side in engine bay. maybe try running a wire from it to the tac and see if it reads. try starting there.

hmm, so if i tapped into that terminal, where would i run it into the tach at???

the signal comes from the crank angle sensor i think
