clutch question

well recently i had some clutch work done. and now when i drive it there's like a popping sound between gears sometimes. also 1st is hard to get into sometimes. its kinda weird but probably something simple. any suggestions.

I'm going to guess your clutch isn't disengaging completely. Could be a cracked fork, wedge collar isn't completely locked in, or another problem.

did ou install a stiffer pressure plate? maybe a weak fork finally gave out with the great pressure?

Not everyone knows how to properly engage a pull clutch, and the clutch forks are known to crack under the load of a heavier pressure plate.

would this explain the popping.

I think you need to take it back and have them review it.
