Clutch Problem
 

So I had this original problem occur last weds, Basically when i pushed the clutch to the firewall and put it in gear it would automatically place itself in the designated gear without letting off the clutch (assuming loss of pressure in either master of slave). Also I would have to pull the clutch peddle back with my toes to build pressure again for another gear change. (luckily i was only a few blocks away from the house)

I originally figured my slave cylinder went out and was due to be replaced as Ive seen a few threads with slave clutch issues.

Tonight I had a bud come over and let him have a look, re-bleed slave line. Now when I push hard on the peddle is creates enough pressure to pop right back. but when you slowly press the clutch peddle to the firewall the peddle stays in its place.

any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have a fluid leak under the car?

Im not seeing any other fluid other than maybe a drop of oil every other night and even that's minimal

replace the master and slave cylinder and the line that joins both

Yea I kinda figured I would hafta to replace them both, just wanted a conformation. Also If im going to be going with bigger brakes later down the road, is there an upgraded version of the oem unit?

I had a similar issue after I swapped from a push type assembly to a pull type! my issue was the slave cylinder! but yeah it sounds like a leak, but if your not seeing a leak! then its probably the slave or master... or both :(
