Clutch pressure plz help!

Well i just recently put in a new ACT clutch in my car and im not all the way done with it i just need to hook up the drive shaft and exhaust and a few other things but... when i push in my clutch it has no pressure to it at all and the clutch release cylinder is hooked up. But when i did remove it it did leak out. Ohh and this is gonna sound like a newb but what kinda fluid does it take i heard it takes break fluid?? Does anyone know how to bleed a clutch and will it fix my pedal problem thanks.

Well, yes, you need to bleed the clutch. The brake and the clutch share the same reservoir, so you'll fill it with brake fluid; I prefer ATE Super Blue (and Gold).

On the slave cylinder, you'll see the bleed valve. Crack it open while someone works the clutch pedal. Keep working the clutch pedal until you have a steady stream of fluid coming out but DON'T LET THE RESERVOIR RUN DRY! Keep refilling it if needed during this process.

Close the bleed valve. You'll still probably have to build up pressure in the system so you'll need to drive it around a bit. A power bleeder makes short work of this task and I recommend to everyone doing their own work to get one (or have someone near to them where they can borrow one).
