Clutch pilot bearing removal tool

Aloha, I am wondering if anyone has the Mazda Speacial tool for the pilot bearing removal.( slidehammer type tool) I have a "normal" engine's pilot bearing tool but it won't work. I have one on order but it is on Backorder for who knows how long.( so far 2 months) Mazdatrix has 8 including mine on order and waiting for delivery. I am more than willing to give a deposit by paypal and give a appropriate Rental fee for the usage. As well as pay for shipping from Wherever it comes from. Please give me a PM or respond to the thread. OR e-mail me at Rotoryhead@Aol.com. I would be able to get it BACK in the mail the same day it arrives.( 10 minutes later as a matter of fact, P.O. is just a mile away ) Thanks in advance guys as there are NO tools available for sale in the country( At least everywhere I called, and that was a LOT of people) Huge Mahalo to whoever can help!! Dave
BTW: I posted this in the West forum too, This will get me more hits I thought.;) Feel free to move if needed)

I used a crowbar.

Autozone has a tool for rental that will do the trick. It is called a blind hole puller.

Numerous other methods to remove it (dremel, hydraulic--pack hole with grease and insert piston to force it out).

I have the tool.

Have you called Rotary Performance down in TX (http://www.rx7.com)? I bought mine from there and they had it to me in 3 days.

If you can't get one from there, let me know and we can see about borrowing mine.

If you don't buy one, or don't borrow Mahjik's I would be more than happy to let you borrow mine. Shoot me a PM with your address and I'll haul it off to ya. :D

This method worked fine for me.

How about your local Kona Mazda dealer? If you leave a deposit and your drivers license they might let you borrow it for an hour or so.

Damn... You guys have good luck with rentals.. Every place I went around here looked at me like I was nuts.. Including the dealership.. If I wanted a MACK truck hat, they could reference 13 stores that have them in stock... But asking for a pilot bearing tool was like asking for a nuclear warhead.. LOL
