Clutch Pedal Bump Stops
About a decade ago my clutch pedal bump stops broke and I couldn't find replacements so I used homemade grommet plugs that worked but didn't fit properly. Since then, I've had to replace them about once a year because they keep breaking. I saw that Atkins Rotary sells them for the 2nd Gen, but the stems are too small for the FD. Has anyone found or sourced the correct size?

i highly suggest replacing it with a nut and bolt. do that and you will never have to worry about it again.
but if you must replace it with a rubber one.... this is a miata part number btw b001-43-029 https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...931e118cbd.jpg |
Stick-on chair feet from Lowe's work wonderfully. Not fancy but I've run them for AGES with zero problems. Dirt cheap too.

I just stuck a small bolt and nut in mine.. I suppose the hard metal could affect the plungers down the road so i may change eventually but it was what I had on hand when I noticed my brake lights were stuck on. Clutch and brake switch lost the oem pieces around the same time. |
Use an M6 carriage bolt and nut.

Nissan part# 46584-S0100 should work.

^ That's what I used. Fits perfect and retains the original design function.

I also recommend you buy 2. They break almost at the same time (clutch and brake). Mine broke within a week of each other.
