How to else to clean this brake fluid from my carpet and floor? I am not really wanting to remove the entire carpet and wash it. I thought of spraying some brake parts cleaner on the affected area since its not like a massive spill. Do you think this will work?

The same thing happening to me last week. I was lucky and most of the fluid went down the firewall under the carpet. I used a complete roll of paper towel and absorbed the fluid from the padding until the paper was almost dry. At first the padding was a wet sponge. I used a bit of carpet cleaner at the edge of the carpet.

Not ideal but I did not want to remove the carpet from the car. I'm going to check under the carpet in a couple of weeks.

Just remove the drivers side footwell trim panels and pull back the carpet in that area. Use brake fluid to clean up the spill. Just know you will be taking some body paint off the footwell area. This is how I cleaned my minor spill.

If the paint has come off clean well and repaint. Or the next post will be 0.0 my floor pan fell out

Anyone know if brake Fluid corrosive?

It's not really corrosive on it's own, but it can strip metal to be unprotected which can then lead to corrosion.

Brake fluid disintegrates paintwork of any sort, leaving the bare metal underneath exposed for rust.

On top of that, brake fluid is what they call "hygroscopic" meaning it absorbs moisture and water out of the air, and this can lead it to cause rusting in cavities it gets into.

I hope my car never does this!!! I'd just paper towel it up, use carpet cleaner, and peel the carpet back and repaint/recoat the steel firewall & floor well, to prevent rust later on. Fingers crossed :)
