Clutch kits

Ok guys what do you say, would it be ok to run say an ACT SS clutch with my stock pressure plate or would it absolutely be necessary to buy a whole kit with everything ??

I wouldn't recommend keeping the old, used pressure plate. It's too much work to pull the tranny. Replace it while you have the tranny out.

The pressure plate is a lot of the reason the ACT clutch will hold a lot more power. There wouldn't be that much of a point to only install the S/S disc. In any case, you should always replace the pressure plate.

I just put in the ACT S/S clutch and pressure plate, looking at the clutch itself I cant tell the difference. everything about it looks exactly the same except some of painted on print was different. The pressure plate is definately where all the difference is.
