Clutch Kit?

I'm taking my car into the shop and thought I might as well replace my clutch. I've been looking around online, but anybody got a clutch kit they'd recommend? My FD is only slightly modified but I do not mind going after a performance clutch kit in case I want to add power later

thx

I would read articles and feedback about the different clutches first and see what suites you, go to horsepowerfreaks.com

If you're only mildly modified, I'd go with the ACT S/S clutch kit. A lot of people here use that and are very happy with it.

Yup, I ran the S/S clutch on my full bolt on FD for about a year. Then when I went single I bolted the same clutch kit back up and it held like I champ (even though something stronger would have been more applicable.) And the pedal feel is great.

Please use the SEARCH function as this is a common topic and has been answered/debated many times.

The ACT S/S clutch is a great clutch for a modified car. It is not that much stiffer than stock and is just as streetable as stock in terms of engagement. Very few people have had problems with their ACT clutch (as compared to Centerforce for example).

I like Exedy Stage 1 organic. Little bit stiffer then stock. Reputable manufacturer

ACT S/S (street/strip) setup, FTW!!!

My FD is the third car that I've had this same clutch setup in and it is the best ever, HANDS DOWN!!! The ACT 6-puck unsprung is not streetable enough, and Clutchmasters blows goats.

I would NEVER use anything else.
