Clutch and flywheel combo?
 

We'll I finally smoked my stock clutch at the drag strip today, so I'll be in the market for a new one. I am considering the ACT street/strip clutch but I can't decide if I want to get the lightweight flywheel or not. The car is mainly driven on the street, but I usually make it to the drag strip 4-5 times a year and also do the occasional road course. What kind oif luck have you guys had with the lightweight flywheel on the strip? I'm curious if it will be more a benefit or make it worse on the track.

Light fw on the street is great , a heavy fw is better for the drag racer. For you I would go 14 lbs steel fw ,ACT preasure plate, Mazda comp plate .This is what Garfinkle uses and is very smooth on the street .no slip at wot. hooks good to take off fast. It will pull away at idle ,
