Check out this interior.....

This is a custom interior done by one of our members. Check out the Rotors on the speakers.

its pretty neat if you're into that sort of style

but I prefer plain ol' black with the stock chrome trim around the gauges so IMHO its cheezy

With the red the silver and the tan interior...it is a bit too much!

Pick up the phone, I believe that's the International Museum of Rice calling. Then again maybe it's just the way the picture was taken. Have you tried taking one with the door shut?

not my taste but he probably put alot of work into it.

badass7 12-21-01 01:39 PM

Not Rice....it's actually very nice. I guess the pic. does it no justice. Also, I do believe he is still working on converting the tan to black interior. Here are some pics. of the rest of the car. He owns a body shop and this car Literally has the best paint job I've ever seen on an FD. The black is Flawless. Again may be hard to see that in the pics.

badass7 12-21-01 01:41 PM

another...btw, how do you post multiple pics. in one reply??

badass7 12-21-01 01:44 PM

last one....

You need to explain to him what corrigated hose does to air flow.

Mr. Stock 12-21-01 08:11 PM

Do you have another view of the interior? Preferably a view from the driver's seat?

I am thinking of painting the interior of my car silver and I would like to see how it looks.

JoeD 12-21-01 08:31 PM

woah! WAY too many colors. i see red, black, brushed aluminum, polished aluminum, and tan. way too much if you ask me.

you cant attach more than one at a time, but you can post multiple images if you have the URL.

No shit, I was thinking the same thing...Thtas about the worst possible choice the guy could have made.

And yes, the red, black, silver combo is a bit much.

Oh well, not my FD

If you look closely he fabricated the intercooler (air to water), cold air intake, and a lot of other stuff. He JUST put it together and I believe he already has replaced that hose with a hard pipe. Also, the interior is really nice if you see it in person. He is working on changing the tan to black.

It's kinda the same effect as driving through 30 speed bumps 1 foot apart at 50mph :p

Oh never mind my previous post :p

Has he taken any air temp readings and compared it to someone with a normal IC? I'm curious to see how well it does...

I am curious too! I will ask him next time I speak to him He has a Haltech with a laptop hooked up. Would that be able to read his intake (intercooler) temps.?? The paint is TOTALLY badass !! ;)

It depends if he has that sensor attached or not, but yes, the Haltech CAN read intake air temps...
