Centerforce dual friction holding force

Hey guys, i have searched the forum for info on this but have found none. Their website doesn't say anything about how much torque and hp this will hold. I'm going to a gt35r here in the next couple of months and when i took my transmission off i found a brand new centerforce dual friction clutch. I'm wondering if i can use it or if i should sell it. I'm going to have it set for about a 300hp street tune and around a 400hp track tune. Do you guys think that this clutch will hold? Thanks guys!

had my centerforce dual for about 4 years now and its still in really good condition, i was probably making about 280-300rwhp.

It should hold even under the condition of your track tune, but if you go a lot over 400 you're looking into getting a twin disc set up

I was making slighly under 500 on pump gas and had no clutch slippage at all with an act 6 puck unsprung.

How often did you drive it? And were you running 500 rwhp all of the time? How long did the clutch drive under these conditions?

clutches hold torque... not horspower... and gernerally a 13B thats is 400rwhp is at 330tq..... which a strong single plate should hold prefectly fine.. for a long time with no slipping.

even at 500rwhp...... your going to be gettin a probable max of 400rwtq.... so keep that in mind.... just look at all the dynos and youl see what i mean.

correct me if im wrong

You're right. It is rated at torque.

Every day in the summer/early spring. About 5000 or so miles and when I pulled the motor again the disc had what looked like plenty of meat left. And I ran 460rwhp on pump, daily. I didn't drive like a retard and launch off redlights or anything, but I had a few track days in there and even after numerous launches the clutch never faded or slipped.
