Catch Can?
Is there a catch can thats suppose to be installed onto these cars for catching excess oil? I remember on my Dodge SRT-4 Neon that I had to install one to keep oil out of the intercooler piping (came from he factory needing it), there is some oil inside the piping that connects to the intercooler.
The guy before me menioned nothing about a catch can being installed.... |
Not from the factory.... You can install an aftermarket one.
If you trace the oil vent line from the oil filler neck you will see that it's connected to the plastic elbow on the primary turbo inlet. Pre 95 cars also have another hose to the PCV valve that's connected to the UIM. Under hard cornering or acceleration oil migrates up the filler neck & is literally sucked into the engine. |

All you do s T into that line right with the catch can tank with the supplied hoses....correct? P.S: Is there any online photo's that you could show me where the line is coming from and where itis exactly connected to? Or possibly take a picture of which line you are talking about and circle it if you have access to a digital camera? Thanks man! |
