Carbon deposits

What can you do to get rid of carbon deposits in your car? I was having boost problem w/ my car for about 3months. So I was driving around w/ virtually no boost during that period. I got boost now but I'm worried about carbon deposits. what can I do?

Driving around with no boost won't cause carbon deposits. What causes them is driving short distances. To get rid of them take a long trip. However if the deposits are really bad they might flake off in the process and if you are unlucky the flake could damage an apex seal. It has happened.
