car wont idle/stalling issue on half bridge

so i just finished installing my motor.. i just got the rebuild done by dave at KDR... only thing is im having starting and idling issues..

to start the car i have to blipe the throttle and in order to idle i have to hold the gas to keep the car on..

i have a basemap for the half bridge..
runnning the apexi power fc
idle on the apexi is set to 1200
throttle cable is maxed out yet the rpms still fall
have all the block off plates to no double throttle

before the engine was rebuilt i had stalling issues aswell but that was only when i was in gear, clutching, and braking....

any tips or suggestions?:dunno:

single turbo? I would first verify no vacuum leaks.

"throttle cable is maxed out yet the rpms still fall " what does that mean? you have to go WOT to get it to idle?

bleh. lemme try explaining better..

first off, just got the engine rebuilt with the half bridge port.
running 99 spec twins

things i swapped/upgraded when doing the rebuild.
upgraded to 1600 secondaries
switched to FMIC
installed block off plates

my vacuum is at 10............ what should it be on a half bridge engine?

by throttle cable maxed out i mean its at the highest tension setting so technically it is? at WOT on idle? idk... i still have to blipe the gas to start the car.....

I just did my half bridge...albeit on a Renesis...and what you have is a case of the "Need more flow" issue. I had to drill a small hole on my Throttle body butterfly to get mine to idle...and yes 10HG vac is normal..its actually on the high end...I have seen as low as 8hg on a REW. It takes more throttle to idle...and you need to set it at like 1200 at least. It gets real fun to listen to when you finally set it up. ;)

I don't think you will have to drill anything on the FD, my car required drilling because it is a drive by wire throttle body and doesn't have an idle speed bypass screw or throttle adjustem. I think you just need to open your idle speed screw more.

I would not drill your tb. Have you adjusted the screw in front of your tb to allow more are?
Btw my 1/2 bridge idled best at 1500 rpm and pulled about 12 inHg. Also make sure your tps is set correctly
