car trouble

the other night after i got done driving my car it was idling weard it was real rough, so i turned it off. wll my car would not start because my battery was dead. i charged my battery and then my car would crank over ond over but not start. after i finaly got it started it started to sqeel and shake. relized it was the alternater. changed it and replaced the bealts. then it started easier and did not shake as much but still shaked. so i changed the spark plugs, it helped but still shook, not a lot but still sakes. i have good vacume, that is fine. when it idles i can fell it missing or like it is missing spark. so im going to change out the plug wires, and if that does not work i will check the coil packs. today i drove it because i havent drove it in a week and it does build full boost but does not have the pull it normally does. so any thoughts or opions, am i on the right track?

i have the same problem, it used to start no problem but it was a bit shaky at idle, when i gave it a little gas stationary and then let go off the pedal it shook some then went back to normal idle, today i started it ran for about 3 minutes stationary ad it felt like it was dying then it died, so i tried starting it again it keeps turning over and feels like its about to start ,but does not.

in my case i think it's spark plugs, but in your case it might be a fried wire or something, check your wiring

You should check the coils when you change the plug wires. It's as simple as reading the resistances on the terminals and comparing it to the manual's listed resistances.

yeah that is what i was told i was just worried about my motar being hurt. but i had a felling it was the ignition system. because it helped when i changed my plugs.
