car isnt boosting

well yesterday i was boosting the car and when i hit 6k rpm's i heard alot pop. i thought i blew my motor, but i didnt. i pulled up to a stop light and i noticed the car wasnt smoking or anything, idled fine. well i pulled away when the light turned green and just driving normally the car seemed a lil funny. so i gave it a lil gas and it wouldnt boost. i thought i might have blown the vacuum line off of the wastegate but they are both still connected. does anyone have any clues as to wut could be causing this? any info would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

You are going to have to be a lot more descriptive about the exact nature of your boost pattern. Have you gone through Derek's troubleshooting page yet?

You could have blown off one of your intake hoses. The pops could have been the car backfiring due to it running rich after a hose blew off/cracked/leaked etc. If you dont have a boost guage, you can tell if the turbos are spooling by listening for the turbo when you accelerate.

I would check the entire intake system. Look for cracks, broken couplings, etc etc. You could throw the car in neutral and have someone rev the motor high to spool the turbos and see if you can feel or hear the leak.
