Capping the split air pipe
 
Kind of a dumb question but how do you cap the split air pipe for an aftermarket (rx7store) hi flow cat?
emissions have been deleted on my car and there's no air pump, if i leave it open I assume it'd be like an exhaust leak directly out of the cat...

On my high flow cat it had a 2-bolt flange for the pipe hookup, I just made a block off plate.

If you just have a pipe you can crimp the end of that pipe shut or get some high temp silicone cap or something to clamp on.

Thanks Dale. Maybe ill just do both, close the tube with some pliers and throw a silicone cap on it for now. Was worried because typically, these small silicone diameter caps are rated for 600 F for 20 minutes before degradation, while the pipe is offset from the cat, I imagine it'll get hotter than
