Angry can't reach absolute radiator - anyone gotten through?

I guess this is more of a gripe than anything, but I went down to Gardena to find out why my car was leaking so much coolant (lucky for me, my low coolant buzzer went off shortly after arriving at Rotary Power - how's that for perfect timing?)

After a bit of prodding, we found that the radiator was gone (leaking all the way around - one of the tanks must have cracked)... So, I needed to get a new one. It just so happened that there was a (1) Fluidyne at the shop waiting to be put in with a rebuild, but the rebuild wasn't going to take place until next week, so if I could confirm that if I ordered one today, it would be here by next week, I could have had that one installed, and been on my way. Well, the damn phone number for Absolute Radiator that's on the website and on the invoice for the other radiator wasn't working.... not only that, but when I called information, there was no listing for "Absolute Radiator" anywhere in California - and I was on the line with the operator @ 411 for a good 10 minutes while she looked for every possibility.

There was a voice mail at the number listed on the website, but the voice mail was just, "You have reached 785-9688, please leave a message after the tone"

It wouldn't be that big of a deal, but Rotary Power (a really good shop, if you're in the area - thanks for the tip, Mel) is about 30 - 45 minutes from my place in Glendale - getting someone to give me a ride from Glendale to Gardena is no easy feat.

If anyone is interested in seeing what's involved with a radiator install - give me a ride down when my radiator comes (early next week, hopefully?) in and we'll find out all about it.

-Brian

Thumbs up

Yeah, their voicemail is a bit strange in that it just repeats the number you just dialed to you. Anyway, that is the correct number. I left a message and they called me back. I have also emailed them a couple of times and they emailed me back both times. I orded the Fluidyne radiator from them and received it very promptly. Now I just need to install it.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to tell you this, but call (949) 859-0684 and ask for Chris. My Fluidyne is sitting in my closet right now. Great price, took only 5 days to get it, AND I got a call from Chris telling me when it would come. Can't complain about that. I just ordered it off the website. That number is what he left on my machine.
