can't find the damn problem

Ok here it is

i have a nice 10-8-10 when the car is cold. After a couple of minutes, i can't get more than 8-5-8. I have to wait until the car is cold (which means the next morning) to have my 10-8-10 again.

Anyone have a clue?

what could cause a leak when hot? I have checked the intake and intercooler piping.

Any help or idea is welcome

This is the million dollar question. I can go on and on about the control system, but there is a serious oversight in my understanding when it comes to why heat significantly kills boost.

My best guesses are:

1. Solenoids some how short out or react slower when heated.

2. Boost leakng from some sort of rubber coupler.

3. Primary inlet hose collapsing.

4. Check valves taking a crap.

5. All of the above.

hmm any solenoid in particular?

Puma,
spooledUP7 said it perfectly, but if I were to start somewhere, then it would be a good idea to start at the WG and PC solenoids. They're located behind the pressure tank in front of the intake manifold. Then again it could be "any" one of the "many"! Good luck!

ok what a about an exhaust leak on the turbo, i don't know if it is a gasket or a cracked housing but i know there is a small leak. Could that be it?

thanks a lot for the replies
