Can You ID this Sound??

Car starts fine, after a few minutes of running this Knocking sound can be heard. RPMs do affect the rate. Only thing I could find online was an old video of an oil injector that had gotten into a chamber.

Thanks for any insight.

Check your water pump pulley bolts. I had a similar issue and finally figured out this was my issue.

Thanks, was not on my list.

Also check all the other pulley nuts like the alternator and PW steering.

Is that a bad exhaust leak I'm hearing at the end?

Could be, I only run it every few weeks and then for just a short drive. I'll have to check the exhaust.

Thanks

Does it change with the rpm? If so id say pulley related.

Thats what it sounds like to me.

The sound is definitely in the same rhythm as the belt in the beginning of the vid...It only happens after that car warms up a bit? Like maybe the rubber belt could be warming up and softening? Is that light colored part of the belt just a stamped label or something else?

it's the stamped label. Belt not that old and looks to be in fine shape.

thanks.
