Can this be fixed? (intercooler)

Does anyone know if this intercooler could be fixed by a shop? And if so, any idea on price.

Thanks!

To be honest... is it worthy of an FD? :)

Thats a blitz FMIC. I'm running the same and I bought mine used with only a few minor fins bent.

Called a local intercooler repairer and they said the fins can only be straightened but not replaced so looking at the damage on that I guess if you wanted that fixed they will probably need to recore it which isn't cheap.

The thing about the blitz FMIC is that its not as wide as say the Trust/Greddy ones which means you can't really get away with hiding that damage behind the left side of your bumper unless it was the stock bumper.

Also it sits further back so you might get away with hiding it after all.

Does it hold air pressure, or is only cosmetic?

If it still holds air pressure, it will work just fine. That one bent tube shouldn't affect the performance much if at all.

The Blitz front mount sits pretty far back so that will most likely not be visible, especially if you have fog lights. If it doesn't hold air pressure, you could easily have the leak TIG welded at a shop.
