A/C question

Okay I just bought a a/c kit used from a guy on here. Im pretty sure its the wrong line but if anybody has a diagram of a/c lines or clear pictures that would be great. also if anyone has pics of a/c condensor mounted thanks...

To help answer your question. There are 2 AC kits the Mana and the Denso.

The Denso was almost exclusively used in Touring Model cars, cars with the sunroof, etc. Generally the drier is silver.

The Mana was used in the R1 and Base models and the drier is generally black.

One of them used metric fittings and the other AN iirc. There is quite a bit of information regarding this if you search.

Sounds like you may have purchased the incorrect AC unit for your car type. Very low probability that this was deceit on the sellers part as a surprising number of people do not know about the AC differences.

The FSM in the stickies will have some diagrams. I am not sure I have ever seen detailed pictures of the AC lines (apart from random pictures in (mostly expired) classifieds ads).

If you have all the components (compressor, drier, condenser, evaporator and lines) it may not matter what original system was on the car.
