a/c problem?

Hi,
Hope somebody can help me with this. When I accelarate w/ my air conditioning on, the engine seems to hestitate and make the car jerk. When I turn off the air conditioning, the engine slowly returns to normal operation. Does it have something to do with the electrical or .....? I really need to get this fixed since it is getting really hot at where I live. Your help is greatly approciated. Thanks!

the a/c compressor is kicking on and off... basically just don't do that... or option 2 you have to much or little freon in the system causing one of the pressure valves to trip the compressor... what are your mods...?

The ECU should disingage thw AC compressor clutch breifly when it senses Throttle tip-in at low - med speed (change in throttle position to more open) the Throttle position sensor may be faulty or misaligned - or the AC Clutch may be sticky and not releasing.

Thats exactly what mine was doing also - I developed the habit of hitting the AC button to turn off the ac as I aproached a stoplight - a habit that took about 3 months to break after I had my engine rebuilt.

My stalling problem was caused by LOW COMPRESSION - and yes the symptoms are agrevated by the Auto Trans.
