a/c condenser

So went to v-mount and one of the hard lines on the condenser was kinked and ended up breaking. Looked like the standard denso condenser as that is what the rest of the system is. So found another one that was supposedly a denso replacement from a 94. Well this one has some different mounts and even the threads are different. Ended up finding the one from my car was a PF heat exchanger 147700-4653 and the newer one I got has FD01-81-480a.

Couldn't find anything on this PF exchanger and seems the 480 is the part number for the denso ac system. Have a second set of lines that are denso as well and even the straight fitting on the condenser, the line fitting wouldn't fit. Any advice?

Bump, guessing this pf heat exchanger isn't a stock one for the fd? Cannot find anything on it or where to find another one. Read that tha condenser is the same on mana and denso but with this new condenser, seems it may be mana, with the fittings being different thread than my denso lines.

Any chance you could have an AC repair shop replace a section of the hard line that is kinked? It seems like with some very careful TIG welding, it should be possible.

I feel like most places just would order a new part even though everything needs to be somewhat custom with the vmount and all. I do have one other place I may try tomorrow just for the hell of it.

So found a thread measure tool and found the old one that I need was measuring sae 18 and 16, and the one I got that wasn't working was metric 1.5.

Also something interesting is the casting on the end tubes for each one. The right is the denso one I have, and the one on the left was listed as unknown, but seems to have some casting ridges as well as caps on the end of each of the tubes. Of course the main problem was the size of the connections being different.

I also have a denso system and condenser that came with my FD is the one pictured on the left. The one on the right looks like it was modified.

Are you sure you have the left? I know for sure I have denso lines and those do not fit that condenser. Or any chance the lines look modified?

For my V Mount, I ended up getting a new condenser, drier from http://macsradiator.com . Also had them make new hoses. Sorry my FD is in storage and I can't find any decent pics or condenser specs at the moment.
