Does anybody know what the rear bushings are for?

Uh, is this a trick question?

RXtacy Oct 17, 2007 10:36 AM

I think he is asking where they go...

Sorry, yeah I need to know where these go exactly. Are they the pillowball bushings, etc...?

There are no pillowballs in that pic.

I believe we're looking at a set of bushings for the front control arms. The ones in back look like the inner bushings for one of the control arms, and I think there should be 4. Probably the lower arm, since the lower arms always take the most load. The 2 bushings in front go into bottom of the shocks, and the 4 bushings in the middle are for the upper control arms. The rubber washers go on each side of the control arm bushings when you install the arm. No guarantees here but can't be far off.

Tonight when I get home I can dig out the set of labeled Mazdaspeed bushings I have in a box and compare them to your pic.

Dave
