------Bumpy boost???-------
 

Just recently I installed a mid pipe with a restrictor plate because I had a clogged cat. Ever since I have noticed very wavy or bumby boost in the first turbo (fluctuation between 11 and 13psi). I think this may have been occuring before but since the mid pipe it is very noticeable. At the turbo change over the boost drops to about 5 or 6psi and raises to about 9psi. What is going on here?

I know that my tune was very rich before i put in my midpipe, so since the cat is now gone the tune should be even more rich. could this be the problem?

could this be just a simple vacume leak somewhere?

Sounds like a vacuum problem with the sequential system coupled with the extra flow of the mp (even with the restrictor).

so doing a tune on my car for the mid pipe shoud clear something like this up?
