The build up

Ok Ive got a 93 R1 and Ive been tweaking MK3 supras for the last 4 years. What do I have to do to make a reliable 500 hp? Also are these engines that hard to rebuild?

Read faqs before anything please :D - You will have problems with a 500hp rotary... their reliable till about 300rwhp? Correct me if i'm wrong. Very time consuming to rebuild, but if you know your rotary's than not too hard, but if you don't know rotary's prepare to pay to labour :)

500hp on a rotary? Good luck with that :/ . . . . be prepared to spend a easy $10,000+ on it and it's won't be reliable (if you mean reliable where you can go get grocery's, drive it to work everyday, and sit in traffic)

These are cars weigh around 2700 pounds, there is absolutely no need for a 'reliable' 500 rwhp grocery-getter FD. I suggest looking into Water Injection to help in that category though.

If you want 500hp reliably, stick with the supra man lol

Nah seriously, there is no need for a 500hp FD cause all that will cost you is money and MANY headaches. Read up on the forum, you'll see for yourself and you can make your own judgement.

If you want a reliable FD, stick with about 300rwhp, probably 350rwhp if done right.

If you want balls to the wall power, you're looking at the wrong car.

choose a diffrent motor for the 7. the rotary is a fun and cool motor but reliability isnt up to par when it comes to high hp unless you can keep feeding it parts, $$$, and time. a good alternative is the gm's lsx motors.

i hate it but an ls swap. but i HATE IT
