buffed my car

had my car buffed by a friend and wow...he did an amazing job, works for carmax so making a car look better than it should is his job

for those of you wondering how the motor is doing, i lost traction in 2nd gear today and i'm running 6lbs of boost on 275's......

nice! or as palumbo1337 put it, "that is awesome"

wingsfan 02-23-04 11:16 PM

Man, that's nice. Slightly off toic here, How's the beam pattern on that sleek light kit? I really like the way that one looks, but some of them produce just god awful lighting.

RX7 RAGE 02-23-04 11:20 PM

looks real mean :D

93BlackFD 02-23-04 11:23 PM

beam pattern is like a fan on the lows, pencil on the brights....but the brights are nice, and the low beamns are ultra white lighting :)

i'm doing some HID's in it pretty soon for the low beams, not sure if anyone else has done this before...

wingsfan 02-23-04 11:24 PM

Any pics at night against a wall or anything?

93BlackFD 02-23-04 11:25 PM

i'll take some tomorrow night if someone will PM me to remind me

wingsfan 02-23-04 11:30 PM

I'll remind you tomorrow afternoon. It's a C-west kit, right? I'll be curious to see if you can do them in HID as well.

93BlackFD 02-23-04 11:32 PM

yes, and i am thinking of tinting the carbonfiber section of the lights because during bright sunlight i do not like how the carbon contrasts so hard with the black car

we'll see...i like to be different (as you may have figured out)

but i think my car is proof that you do not need a fancy bodykit to make the FD3S look good...mazda provided us with a great platform...update the look with some different lighting and some better wheels and you're set
