Bucket seats compared to stock seats...Worthed?
Just wandering what do you think. Is it worth the money to get racing seats rather than the stock ones? Or spend it on something more worthed?
I'm not into racing or anything...well maybe once every blue moon. It's just that the stock seats are too small for my height. My head's over the seat when I'm sitting, sometimes after some drive, my neck starts to ache. |
well then i wouldnt get racing seats either bc they are prob not gonna be eny better.....

you have the R1 seats? those are actually comfortable..but since you're tall, they do making racing seats that fit your needs however it will cost a pretty penny..
and IMHO, if you get one racing seat, it will only look good if you get 2 to match.. |
If you have a Touring and get tired of sliding on the leather when you take a turn faster than usual (if you even do), or obviously if you track it, it would be worth it.
But if you mean a genuine bucket (non-reclinable), be aware your comfort level will probably go down. Especially on longer drives. |
Doesn't corksport offer some decent seats. Been so long since I've been on that site.

i have a R1 and it came with the sueade seats and the drivers side the upper bolster tore so i brought them to a local interior guy and he took the bolster of both seats and but in black leather and there seriously comfortable and since its not a real glossy leather it actully made the seats amazing at the track and it'll really never wear out........my seats pwn you
