what would happen if i just plugged the line? https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...id=66434&stc=1 |
I think that's the line for the Charge Control solenoid.
You should be able to find standard rubber vacuum tubing at O'Reilly's or NAPA. If you have a local rice shop, they will have silicone vacuum lines. Always get extra so you have some around, just for cases like these. |
Auto parts stores have it. Napa, Autozone, etc should have plenty in stock.
I think that hose would affect your secondary turbo, how exactly I'd have to study the diagrams. I suggest just fixing it now and getting it overwith. Dave |
is it ok to drive on it to napa autozone etc?

You'll have to cap that location as well as where it's suppose to go if you want to put any caps on the car (so you cap 2 locations). |

And use more PB blaster. |

Use your BPB vlaster and let it soak for about 5-10 min. use a socket and ratchet (should be a mid 14) with a breaker bar to remove it. If you feel resistance tighten it down and losen it back up. Keep doing that until it comes out. It may take a while. Good luck they can be a problem, Try not to break the stud off in the manifold or if single in the back of the turbo. If you have not done so yet I reccomend doing a hose replacerment job, this will save you future headaches.
