BOV Question
This may be a foolish question but it is something I have been curious about. In the stock configuration the blow off valve is located behind the intake. In most aftermarket applications I have seen the blow off valve is moved to the piping between the intercooler and the compression elbow. What are the pro's and con's of the two configurations? Is the stock setup like that for the sole reason that its a re-circulation valve and is just blowing off into the airbox?

a lot of people think that the closer the BOV is to the throttle plates, the more air it will vent out and the less likely compressor surge will occur. As for the stock BOV, well it makes way more plumbing sense to put it closer to the airbox.
