Bosch EV14 adapter hat question

I ordered some Bosch EV14 2200cc injectors, told the company I needed 48mm standard size injectors and was sent the short style 33mm (38mm?) EV14 instead.

I'm using Full Function 48mm rails. Can I use this adapter http://injector-rehab.com/shop/EV14-...aptor-Hat.html and put it on top of my short style injector to fit it into my rail? I know this is the adapter for a 48mm to 60mm, which is a 12mm difference and I have a 15mm difference, but do you think the 3mm difference will be a big deal? I really don't want to have to send these injectors back and hope they actually have standard size ones in stock.

You do if your fuel rail is spaced for 48mm injectors and want to run 34mm injectors (ID2000/ID1300/ID850)

FFE does offer the secondary rail specifically for 34mm injectors though. I would call them up (or send an email) and ask for the spacers and bolts to use the 34mm injectors instead. Alternately, you could just have them send you the proper injector hats to convert your 34mm injectors to 48mm.
