Boost Sensor

The stock ECU reads from a boost sensor, right?

Otherwise known as the MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure), yes.

that's 3rd gen. 2nd gen is totatly different. The plug on 2nd gen is from the bottom not from the side.
