Boost Problems, 7psi even with boost controller hooked up

OK, I usually never post for help here but this has me alittle stumped. My car has a full non-sequential conversion, resonated midpipe, downpipe, exhaust, PowerFC, intakes, Greddy IC, etc etc.

Anyways, it was tuned awhile back at 1 bar and 12psi. This is when it had the stock sequential setup. I did the non-sequential conversion myself, port matched everything, ported the wastegate, etc and got rid of the pills, stock wastegate and precontrol solenoids. I forgot I ditched the solenoids and was driving the car around at 7psi forever. Finally figured out I forgot to install my boost controller and installed it. I had a Hallman MBC. No matter what I set the boost controller to I was still only getting 7psi. So recently I made a Home Depot MBC and installed that thinking maybe the Hallman was broken. Still only getting 7psi no matter how I set the boost controller. I checked and changed all my vacuum lines, changed the wastegate actuator, and had a spike of 20psi (maybe because of the MBC spring being tight) recently out of nowhere so I think my turbos are still fine. I have the bottom nipple of MBC connected to the vacuum source by the wastegate actuator, and the side nipple of the MBC hooked up to the wastegate actuator with the other side of the actuator capped off. Any ideas why this car would still only be getting 7psi? Maybe I hooked up the MBC wrong, but I dont think so.

I had the same problem a while back on a non-seq setup. MBC's never worked for me.

Might be a boost leak somewhere.

You can use your PFC and the stock waste gate actuator solenoid and control boost accurately through a commander as a EBC.

I would also suggest not to raise the boost since Non-Seq and Seq maps differ.

I'll have to look through my box of crap to find my wastegate solenoid, I was actually thinking of doing that before also. I just want to get a working way to control boost so I can tune it again, its running very rich and the smoke is killing all the small animals in my neighborhood. :)
