Boost problem in non seq?

I went non seq a while back and the car was running fine. Now all of the sudden driving home I was only getting 7psi. Its raining out right now so im not gonna go dig around, but does anyone know where a good place to start looking for the problem would be?

Please mention if you did the poor mans way or the full non sequential.

Seriously check the vac lines first. I bet you just popped one off.

What are you using to control boost, one of the 2 solenoids under the front of the UIM or do you have some sort of manual or electrical boost controller. Sounds like whatever you are using went astray because you are running 7psi and that is what the stock wastegate spring is set at, could be something to do with that. If you are using either the wastegate or precontrol solenoids to control boost then check whichever you are using, you may have popped a hose off of it,

What were you boosting before?

With the non-sequential system, there's only so many vacuum lines run.

It's odd that your boost is LOWER...that's not easy to do.

Couplings? OneBadRx7 gave you the right idea you should try that. Are there any different noises you are hearing?

To answer your questions, the car is poor mans, I usually run 12psi on a PMS which uses stock solenoids. The car was running fine with prodictable boost, now it hits 7 psi on the dot, it doesnt drop or spike etc. Im going to try switching from wastgate to precontrol for boost control.

I dont think that would work if you are running the PMS. Check all the lines going from the solenoid to the actuator and then all the couplings going to the IC. Also get under your car to see if the TCA door is still being held open.
