The car ran find after that .I removed the boost controller then i put it back the sameway it came from factory .But when i went out for a drive on the highway it did it again. So i'm going to go to autozone to put the scanner to check for codes.

paw140 Feb 22, 2003 10:26 PM

You don't need to go to autozone to check the codes. All you have to do is the jump the GRN and TEN terminals in the diagonstic port under the hood near the battery. Then turn the key to 'on' and the codes will flash.

You told me earlier that you didn't have any trouble codes?

doggie Feb 23, 2003 08:40 AM

i don't know if it has any codes that is why i want to put the scanner on it is free at autozone. If it was good after i did that the first time it may have codes in it now.

paw140 Feb 23, 2003 10:28 AM

Like I said, you don't need to go to Autozone. All you need is a piece of wire or a small paperclip.

doggie Feb 23, 2003 07:46 PM

okey i will check it tomorrow that way.

doggie Feb 23, 2003 08:48 PM

i couldn't wait until tomorrow so i did today the code is 5 flashes then 1 single flash atthe end.

It says a code 51 is the fuel pump relay.

onefastrx7turbo Feb 23, 2003 11:04 PM

Doogie,

that sounds like code #51, which is the fuel pump relay code. It means that the relay is bad or there a short or open circuit. The connector to the relay, if thats good, check the continuity of the relay with a multimeter. If that checks out, its either the wiring from the ecu to the relay, or the relay is actually bad. Good luck man..

i checked it is code 14 atmospheric pressure sensor built in ecu . how can a fix that with out buying another ecu.
