boost pattern with downpipe
 

If I have a downpipe as my only mod, would the boost pattern change at all? Or should it stay at 10-8-10? I'm getting one put on soon and wanted to know what to expect.

My pattern changed just slightly to just over 10psi, until i added an intake. Then it was a 11-14-11 on the dyno. But the good news was that the car made 233 or 235 rwhp at 11psi.

all I had was a catback and an intake. When I installed the DP my boost went from 11psi to 16. Be carefull!!

this is just a hypothesis,
but i'm guessing if you have a catalytic converter in there
somewhere, your boost should be ok.

But get a boost guage to be sure!!! you dont want to chance it.
