Boost issue
 

I have searched and found a post that is similar to my issue. My car boosts and transitions fine the first time, but if I do not let the RPMs drop far enough I get almost zero boost when I step on the gas. Unlike the OP I do not hear a difference in exhaust sound but I hear a different release of gas. When you let off the gas you normally hear a pssst sound from the BOV. When I don't let the RPMs drop and I have the issue the normal pssst sound turns in to a buuuuuuuuurm. Very funny sound actually! Anyway if I push in the clutch or stop and then hit the gas it will boost fine.

Also arghx posted a nice pic of some of the parts involved here ( https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...=turbo+control ) but where is the solenoid located on the car? Is it under the UIM, if so does anyone have a picture of it?

I assume my problem is the turbo control actuator like the OP. Would you agree?
