Boost Controller Help

i dont have the money for a good boost controller so for now i was going to use this homemade one. when i mentioned this to the mechanic who is installing my new engine he said it was a bad idea and that if i put it on then the warranty on the motor would be void. i'm not too sure why he thinks its such a bad idea. i'm adding a couple more mods which are going to add more boost but i want to keep the boost at factory levels. i need the warranty but i dont want to get any boost creep which could harm the engine. any ideas?? thanks

that valve isn't going to keep you from making boost spikes, hence probably why the guy will void your warranty. from what i hear, the dawes boost controller will get rid of the spikes and is only 35 bucks or so - there are also other options that are better than what you've got there.

leave that POS valve for the icemaker line to your fridge as it was intended.
