i can retune the boost contoler so i have 10psi in 3rd 4th and 5th but i only have like 7psi MAX boost in 1st and 2nd is about 8psi MAX

yeah its because you used a shit home depot one. If you are competent you need to make a manual ball and spring controller or buy one. I cant believe that people endorse those pluming valves they SUCK in every way. It also sounds like you have a midpipe on the car...

what about the fact that boost is load dependant? you shouldent be able to hit the same peak boost in 1st and 2nd as you can in 3/4/5.

and yes, the home depot brand sucks...

yeah that is a great point. thats what the ball and spring is there for in the manual controller and the solenoid with the electrical controller. They move while you are boosting to maintain the same boost. The home depot valves are just that and they stay right where you adjusted it.
