Boost after seq. simplification

you guys that ahve doen the simplificatoin, did you guys have to readjsut boost?

I have a MBC and a bleed vavle for the prespool, and after finsihing my boost is way higher then what it was set at. before the boost problems I was hitting 12-10-12. My test drive after the hose job gave me a 15-20-then I got saw it and was like "holy shit" and let off the gas.

if you installed MBC, maybe you switched the lines wrong. Happent to me twice. Boost just starts rising and like there is no transition. Switch the nipples on the boost controller and then try to adjust it.

ummm yeah you did it wrong
sounds like the wastegate is recieving the wrong pressure

you saw 20? most I ever saw was 17 after doing the mbc wrong hahha

I already had the MBC and the the blled valve in there prior to the hose job. I didn't even touched those hoses yet.

oops my mistake, I did change the lines for the MBC already, but I double checked and it is installed correctly.

I have a Dawes Device MBC and its adjusted just a few turns away from falling apart, but I'm still seeing about 14 psi. I was thinking, When I replaced the lines for the MBC I may have used hoses with a smaller ID. Would that cause this problem?

I would use vacuum hoses that fit pretty good over the nipples that they go on. If they fit too tight they will crack and if they are too loose even a tie wrap won't work long term.

i don't think that's your problem though. Do you still have the pill in the wastegate line? If so take that out the valve should take it's place. Does the dawes device just come with 2 ball and spring valves?
