Boost

Hey,
Got a question.I friend of mine told me that u can increase the boost of the OEM Rx-7 turbos simply with the actuator without the use of boost controllers. Is that possible??? If yes How to determine how much to increase.

first off, why would you want to up the factory boost when the stock computer can not allow for it?

you can adjust the rod length on the wastegate to manipulate the bleeding of the boost.....

anybody up for a game of "PressYourLuck?"

You don't want to increase boost with the stock ecu. You're car will run too lean and potentially blow your engine.

boost is good

Thanks for the information.Thats exactly wat I wanted to know if it is safe or not coz a friend of mine has done that. Lets see what happens to his car.

Can anyone help me in installing a boost meter.I know it is attached to the vaccum pipe. Can someone give me a picture illustration.

i dont have any pictures, but you run a vacum line from the extra nipple on the passenger side of the intake manifold through the hole on the drivers side of the firewall (just loop it so it follows the firewall till you find the hole) then all you do is run it to wherever you are putting the boost gauge and connect it. the hardest part is getting it through the firewall but it shouldnt give you any problems.
